If you had a mooring permit in 2024 and did not receive an email with an access code please contact the Marine unit @ 781-927-6332. If you have an account and can’t access it please don’t create another account. Excise taxes must be paid before permits can issue. If you have completed the online process and made payment, but have not received a mooring permit in 2 weeks contact us. We will be sending out application renewal emails soon. Please use the link in the email to renew an existing application for mooring permits.

Residential Mooring Permit
Submit this application if you would like to obtain a permit for a vessel on a single point mooring or at a private dock you already have. This is not a waiting list to obtain an open mooring.

Boat Mooring Permit @ Marina
Submit this application if you would like to obtain a permit for a vessel moored at Tern Harbor Marina, Wessagussett Yacht Club, South Shore Yacht Club, Weymouth Boat Storage or Thayer’s Landing Marina. You must already have a slip/mooring at one of these locations. The placement of vessels at these locations are controlled by each marina not the Town of Weymouth.
