All applications submitted will be reviewed by the Harbormaster.
The Town of Bristol Harbor Ordinance is available at the Town Office or online at www.bristolmaine.org/harbors-landings. Please take the time to read and familiarize yourself with the ordinance and its regulations.
All mooring inspections must be completed at a minimum of every 3 years.
The mooring number and the owner’s last name must show on the mooring buoy. Please provide proof by submitting a picture of your mooring buoy.
Mooring owners are responsible for the maintenance of their moorings and will be liable for damages caused by faulty or inadequate equipment.
Our goal is to ensure compliance of mooring regulations within the Town of Bristol and the State of Maine. Mooring ownership and the use of public landings in Bristol is a privilege. Please use them responsibly and have consideration for others.
