**ALL NEW MOORINGS /LOCATIONS MUST BE DISCUSSED WITH THE HARBORMASTER PRIOR TO APPLYING**
Tackle/Inspection Requirements
- Mooring tackle must conform to the minimums required by the Old Lyme Harbor Ordinance, as evidenced by an on-line Inspection report from an authorized 3rd party Inspector, approved by the Harbormaster, and submitted prior to the beginning of each even-numbered boating season.
- Prior to being set, buoys must be clearly marked with: Permit Holder Name, mooring weight, and current year’s Permit decal (Provided by the HMC).

** I AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE OLD LYME HARBOR MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE AND WARRANT THAT THE INFORMATION STATED HEREIN IS CORRECT **
• Mooring tackle contracts, Inspection Applications/fees and vessel management are the sole responsibility of the Owner. The HMC takes no role in these transactions.
• The Mooring scope must not allow infringement on other moorings, docks, etc. with the Vessel attached. The Harbormaster shall have the final say in the case of any disputes on this topic.
• Permits for a specific location will be granted based on available space and the timeliness of complete, submitted application(s).
• Moorings without a valid Inspection Report on file or that cannot be identified because the markings are incomplete/illegible may be considered illegal/abandoned
and removed at the Owner’s expense.
• All Moorings must be hauled out for Inspection by 31st December of the year prior to even numbered boating seasons.
• Consult the Harbormaster or OLHMC with any questions or concerns regarding these terms.
